Largest single-county outage on record: ~45,980 customers out in Bonneville County in May 2020, restored after about 18.5 hr.
Months that hit the widest area at once — these rank among the three largest outages ever recorded in the most counties: January 2020 (8 counties), December 2025 (7 counties) and May 2020 (6 counties).
Where restoration has historically taken longest: Clearwater County (~4.5 hr typical), Benewah County (~4 hr typical) and Boise County (~3.8 hr typical) — against ~2.3 hr statewide.
