Numbers on this page come from EPCOR's public outage data — the same data behind its official outage map — collected on a rotating cycle (each utility typically refreshes within the hour; the card above shows exactly when these numbers were last collected). When the utility posts a restoration time we show it as the official estimate; our independent estimate is computed from the outage's own recovery trend and graded publicly. The level of detail is whatever EPCOR's own map publishes: some utilities place each outage near a community, others report only their own service areas, which can span several towns.

When EPCOR posts an estimated restoration time for an outage, we show it as the official estimate. Alongside it we show our own independent estimate from the outage's live recovery trend — useful when the utility hasn't posted a time yet. Both appear side by side.
Why isn't my outage showing for EPCOR?
A brand-new or single-customer outage may not appear in the utility's public data yet, and this page can only be as detailed as EPCOR's own outage map, which may report a whole service area rather than your street or town. If your power is out and it isn't listed, report it to EPCOR so it enters their system.
How accurate is the EPCOR restoration estimate?
Our independent estimates are graded against when the tracked outage was substantially restored (~90% of customers back), published on our accuracy page. EPCOR's own posted restoration times are graded there too, so you can compare them.
