When the utility posts a restoration time we show it as the official estimate; our independent estimate is computed from the outage's own recovery trend and graded publicly. Coverage and level of detail vary by utility: some break out towns and neighborhoods, others publish only county or area totals.

Why isn't my outage showing for Eversource?
A brand-new or single-customer outage may not appear in the utility's public data yet, and the level of detail varies — some Eversource data breaks out towns and neighborhoods, other sources publish county or area totals only. If your power is out and it isn't listed, report it to Eversource so it enters their system.
How accurate is the Eversource restoration estimate?
